The ruins of Navarov Castle stand above the romantic wild valley of the Kamenice River in the Jablonec region of the Liberec Region. The origin of Navarov Castle dates back to the end of the 13th century, when it was the center of a large estate reaching into the heart of the Jizera Mountains. The castle was in use until the 17th century, when it was demolished by order of Emperor Ferdinand III, and then the ruins simply decayed. In 2019, we completed a generously conceived overall conservation of the castle ruins to save this cultural monument for future generations. Thanks to this, we were able to open Navarov Castle to today's visitors and tourists.
