The Palacký Trail, winding from the Jizera Mountains to the Bohemian Paradise along the enchanting Kamenice River, was established in 1912 by the Czech Tourist Club. After more than a century, the route needed revitalization and a complete repair of sections in critical condition. Our goal was to repair part of the Palacký Trail near Navarov Castle. We also managed to renovate the famous castle ruins, which had been decaying for decades, and the restored Navarov Castle was opened to the public in 2019.
